Two die as truck rams into bike in Chapainawabganj

Two motorcyclists were killed when a truck rammed their vehicle in Kolyanpur area of Chapainawabganj town on Tuesday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Mizanur Rahman, son of Jalal Uddin, and Moshiur Rahman, son of Salauddin, residents of Kolail Diyar area of Gomostapur upazila, reports a news agency.

Sub-inspector Golam Mostafa of Chapainawabganj Police Sadar Station said the motorcycle skidded off the road when a pickup van came in front of it while the biker was trying to overtake a truck around 8:30am.

Later, the truck rammed the vehicle, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
