Three people were killed and two others injured after an ambulance overturned at Alalpur in Sadar upazila of Mymensingh in the early hours of Thursday.
The accident took place at around 3:00am when a Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital-bound ambulance crashed into a roadside tree and turned turtle, leaving two people dead on the spot and three others injured, said Mahmudul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Model Police Station.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet, UNB reports.
The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared another injured dead.
