A van puller was killed when a truck hit his van on Gopalganj-Tekerhat road in Muksudpur upazila in the early hours of Friday.
The dead man was identified as Sattar Sheikh, 40, son of Kalu Sheikh from Gangarampur village of the upazila, reports UNB.
According to Sindhiaghat police camp-in-charge Mahidul Islam, the accident took place at around 6:30am when the Tekerhat-bound onion-laden truck hit the van, immidiately killing Sattar.
