An elderly man was killed as a passenger bus hit him at Madhobpur upazila in Habiganj district on Saturday.
The man was identified as Harendro Das, 70, from Bula village of the upazila.
Police said the accident took place at around 11:00 am in Andiora area on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway. Harendra received critical injuries after the bus ran over him, reports BSS.
He was brought to Madhobpur Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared him dead.
