Police in special drives arrested 36 people, accused in different cases, from different areas of seventeen upazilas under Cumilla district from Sunday night to Monday evening.
Billal Hossain, additional superintendent of Cumilla police, said that separate teams of police conducted drives in the upazilas and arrested them., according to a news agency report.
Among the arrestees, one is accused in drug case, six are accused in regular cases, and rest in other cases, said the official.
