IU gets two female provosts

The authorities of Islamic University (IU) on Tuesday appointed two female provosts to Deshratna Sheikh Hasina Hall and Bangamata Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall of the university.

The provosts are Prof Selina Nasrin of the Accounting and Information Systems department and Prof Babli Sabina Azhar of the Applied Nutrition and Food Technology department.

IU acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif said IU Vice-chancellor Prof M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed them for the next one year, reports UNB.

Selina Nasrin said that she will work for the betterment of the hall with assistance of the teachers and students.
