IU appoints new student advisor

Professor Paresh Chandra Barman of Information and Communication Engineering department has been appointed as the new Student Advisor of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia.

IU Vice-chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari appointed him to the post for the next one year, sources at IU registrar office said on Wednesday, reports UNB.

He was appointed to the post as the tenor of Student Advisor Professor M Rezuanul Islam of Biotechnology and Genetics Engineering department, IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif said.
