SLEEP is very important for life and without sound sleep, we cannot expect to lead a healthy life. But many of us ignore the necessity to develop a regular sleeping pattern in life. Irregular sleeping cycle disturbs our mental and physical well-being which many of us are unaware. People who maintain a fixed time to go to bed and get up enjoy more out of life than others.
If we sleep early and wake up early at the same time every day, we not only have longer working hours, but more importantly we enjoy a healthier life. Adequate sleep makes us feel more energetic. Many of our young people are seen to spend their time in front of computer and browse internet unnecessarily which is detrimental to their health and academic life. A healthy adult needs six to seven hours' sleep every day. We must recognize the importance of a good night's sleep.
