Fast food: Less nutrition, high calories

FAST food is fast becoming popular in the urban areas, especially among the young and teenagers. It is a type of mass-produced food that is prepared and served very quickly. The food is typically  nutritionally less valuable compared to other foods. While any meal with low preparation time can be considered fast food, typically the term refers to food sold in a restaurant or store with preheated or precooked ingredients for take-out/take-away.
Day by day we are seeing more and more people making it a part of their day-to-day life. Even two decades ago, fast food was not so popular. Fast food is a blessing for people who do not have much time for a full meal. Nowadays, we see fast food shops everywhere and they are apparently doing a brisk business. Occasionally if we eat fast food, it is not harmful but unfortunately, many of us have made it a regular practice which is surely not good for health. It must be appreciated that all is not well with mouth-watering and yummy fast foods like burgers, pizza, fried chickens etc. Fast food has low food quality and it has a high fat and low nutritional value. In the West, nowadays the common people are being discouraged to eat fast food.  So we should also be careful and make sure we eat fast food only occasionally.
