Fast food can be dangerous

ALTHOUGH fast food is becoming increasingly popular, lot of people are against making fast food eating a regular habit. They are of the view that one can occasionally go for fast food, but should not make it a regular practice. Now-a-days there are also reports of adulteration of fast foods which should make us doubly alert in this respect. Fast foods often contain too many calories and too little nutrition. With the condition that, fast food is a common item of diet, people treasure trove might be struggling with weight problems, unsound body and ill health.
According to the Robert Wood Johnson foundation, most of the people underestimate the number of calories they are eating in a fast food. Fast foods cause overweight which is a risk factor for a variety of chronic health problems. Some of these problems are: blood sugar spike, insulin resistance, overweight, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, bloating and puffiness, breathing trouble, headache, depression, acne and dental distress. So, when we feel like eating fast food, first of all the things that should come to our mind are the taste and food value content of the same. Sadly, we do not consider how much food value is contained in the fast food we are taking.
