Microbus registration in the country stood at 1,850 in the first six months of the current calendar year, according to official data.
Of them, 1,622 microbuses were registered in Dhaka alone, according to the statistics provided by Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
The data also added that a total of 4,137 microbuses were registered in 2018, while the number was 5,575 the year before.
