IPDC Finance Limited introduced first ever interest-free book loan titled "Subodh" for booklovers, said a statement.

With the slogan "Notun boiyer ghrane, subodh jaguk prane", the product was launched at Bangla Academy premises recently.

Mominul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of IPDC, singer of band Souls Partha Barua, Chief Evangelist at Robi 10 Minute School Arif R Hossain, and others were present during the ceremony.

The product can be enjoyed throughout the duration of the Ekushey Boi Mela. The offer is being provided to inspire new generation youths in reading books.

A book lover must have his/her National ID and the app of mobile financial service provider bkash to avail the offer. All the information and help related to the service can be accessed at the booth of IPDC set up at the fair. Moreover, a person can also take instant loan from the booth.

A recipient can take up to Tk 3,000 loan which can be paid in three installments. The amount must be availed by three transactions.

About the offer, Mominul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of IPDC, said, "To boost the exuberance of bookworms and to bring back the habit of reading among the kids of current generation, IPDC has brought the offer. We hope 'Subodh' will help people buy books of their favourite writers."
