The government has relaxed the requirement of approval from the ministries and departments concerned for releasing the fourth instalment of grant allocation under the operating budget.
The fund will be considered released automatically and, the autonomous and private organisations will be able to utilise those directly.
The ministry of finance issued a notification on Monday, easing the fund release procedure.
Officials said usually such funds are released with prior approval of the ministry of finance and other ministries concerned.
This time the procedure is eased taking into consideration the present pandemic situation which is hampering the usual operation in both public and private sector offices.
