Market analysts said investors continued to show their appetite for the National Tubes shares ahead of dividend declaration as the company's financial year ended on June 30.
According to statistics available with the DSE, about 1.53m shares of National Tubes were traded, generating a turnover of more than Tk 220m, which was 5.40 per cent of the day's total turnover.
The state-run company's share traded between Tk 137 and Tk 148.80, before closing at Tk 138.90, losing 1.55 per cent on Monday, after posting highest gain in the previous day.
