A team of bicyclists from Bangladesh has earned itself a place in world renowned Guinness Book of Records. The cyclists have done so by earning the title "the longest cycle of moving bicycle". I heartily congratulate the members of the BD cyclists group on achieving this feat and feel proud of them, for creating the world record and for being included in the Guinness Book of Records. It is a matter of pride for all of us. The young people of the country have proved that with planning and determination one can reach newer heights. Last year on December 16, on the victory day, 1186 members of BD cyclists group took part in this record breaking event. They deserve our appreciation for taking up such a venture and stamping the name of our country in the record book. We hope, they will better their records in other items as well and make us happier. Their record earning feat should encourage our youths to spend their time in similar productive exercises and earn more laurels for the country which will ultimately encourage them to do better in life and rise to loftier heights. The earlier record was held by the Cyclists' Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Our youth is our future and we should take every care to keep them on the right track and protect them from being wasted.
