THE importance of learning English can hardly be overemphasised as English is the language of the global village we dream of. We need to learn English so that we can communicate with the outside world with ease and confidence. Plenty of materials are available on the internet to help us learn English. Knowledge of English gives us an edge over others in our day to day life. I know many students who learn Chinese, French, Japanese besides English and it gives them an extra advantage in their life. Besides internet, there are newspapers, novel, magazines to improve our English. English We must not forget that English is spoken by around 2400 million people of the world. This is a gigantic number that indicates the growing importance of English.
