Facebook: A mysterious world

DO you remember how your life was when there was no Facebook? What did you do when you had nothing to do? But without a Facebook account now you will be a misfit in society. With Facebook around, you have so many things to do and time is no longer a burden on you. Of course Facebook has its positives too. It allows us to be in touch with friends, watch both interesting and useful information and comments. But we are often oblivious of the negative impacts that the Facebook can have on an individual.
Over one billion people log themselves in on Facebook daily. We have Facebook on our computers, cellphones and even televisions. Studies have shown that Facebook has negative psychological effects on young adults. The more someone uses Facebook, the worse he or she feels afterwards and his/her satisfaction level declines. People use Facebook when they are lonely and the loneliness disappears as he or she watches pictures of friends and family members. Having fun in this way might make an individual more isolated from the worldly affairs. But the social isolation does not seem to affect an individual's wellbeing as studies have shown.
The main reason why I am writing about Facebook is to focus on the negative impact we may experience from using it a little too much. Facebook is a great invention but we should use it in a proper way. Some people are seen picking up conflicts with others on the Facebook page which is undesirable. Furthermore, knowing about others people's lives is good but with Facebook you get so much information about someone just by visiting their profile page which is bad. You never know who is looking at you and what their intentions might be. This is why it is important to monitor your Facebook and know who you have in your list of friends. Thousands of people have Facebook friends they do not even know. There are about of 83 million fake accounts in the world. Please use Facebook for its positives. Do not let it affect you in anyway.
