Homemade packs for youthful skin

Taking care of our skin brings a huge difference. If you maintain a skincare routine, your skin's ageing process slows down, and your skin remains young and wrinkle-free longer.

Hydrating your skin correctly can prevent dryness of your skin and keep your skin soft and healthy. Gradually you can see a visible difference and glow in your skin.

You need to use a facial pack or mask in your skincare regimen. These are quite costly to buy from the store and contain some harsh chemicals.

You can create face packs at home with just a few natural ingredients. Using natural ingredients, you can achieve healthy and glowing skin without chemical-based products.

Also, these are organic and safe for your skin.

Glowy Gram Flour pack

Gram flour is commonly used and known as a glowing skin ingredient. Many herbal companies use this ingredient to make face packs. Gram flour tightens your pores and cleans them.

Adding yoghurt or curd with gram flour can help in reducing sun tan from your face and bring back your original glow.

Also, add some turmeric and mix them well. Turmeric has potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Thus, it soothes your skin and reduces any bacterial attack or redness.

You must take one tablespoon of curd and gram flour with half a tablespoon of turmeric. You can add rose water to soothe your skin too. Apply the mixture in a circular motion and wait till it dries out. Wash with normal water.

Rosewater and Sandalwood pack

If you have inflamed skin, sandalwood will be best for you as it soothes gently. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.

Rosewater will provide a cooling effect to your skin. You need two tablespoons of sandalwood and a tablespoon of rosewater. Mix them well and apply them on your face for 10 minutes. Wash gently with water and pat dry with a clean towel.

Papaya face pack

Papaya is enriched with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. All these are good for our skin. Papaya can add a glow to your skin and lighten dark spots. Also, it helps to smoothen ageing lines.

Take a small bowl and mash some ripe papaya with honey and milk. Make a smooth paste. Apply the paste to your face and let it dry.

Lemon-Tomato pack

Lemon and tomato combinedly can give your skin an instant glow and fairness. It removes pigmentation and provides glowy skin. Mash a tomato and mix a tablespoon of lemon juice. Apply the mixture to your face and keep it for 20 minutes.

Cucumber face pack

The cucumber face pack is perfect for dry skin as it can help the skin to make it soft, supple, and luscious through its hydrating properties.

To make a wonderful pack, grate some cold cucumber and add a teaspoon of sugar. After some time, apply this mixture to your face and let it dry. Wash with cool water.

Aloe Vera faces mask:

Aloe vera is a great ingredient for maintaining the hydration of oily skin types. Aloe vera removes excess oil and sebum from your face and nourishes the skin deeply.

Mix some fresh aloe vera with turmeric or a few drops of lemon juice in a small bowl. Apply it in a circular motion and let it dry.

Coffee pack

Coffee helps to remove dead skin cells and increases blood circulation in our face. It is enriched with antioxidants and helps to make the skin glowy and clean. Caffeine helps to improve dark spots too.

Take a tablespoon of coffee and add two tablespoons of chilled raw milk. Apply the mixture to your face and keep it for 10 minutes.

Try any pack according to your skin's requirements. You can apply face packs 2 to 3 times a week. Make sure that the ingredients are pure and chemical-free.

To avoid irritation or skin issues, you should do a patch test with the mixture before using it on your face.
