Hearing the news, some BCL activists of Maulana Bhashani Hall forcefully stopped Nabinagar-bound six buses of Welcome Paribahan coming from Dhaka and took them to the campus in the afternoon, reports UNB.

Jahid and Shuvo are the BCL activists of Maulana Bhashani Hall unit, and also the followers of JU unit BCL secretary Abu Sufian Chanchal.
Contacted, Chancal said he knew nothing about the vandalism.

Meanwhile, JU Proctor Prof Tapan Kumar Saha, confirming the incident to UNB correspondent, said the authority of Welcome Paribahan took their buses from the campus in the evening.

"On Sunday, we will sit with the Welcome Paribahan authority and the students allegedly responsible for the vandalism."
