Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) has said there is no visible arrangement for Rohingyas refugees with disability.

“No significant arrangement has been initiated yet for the Rohingyas with disability,” said a new study of TIB which was released recently.

The study recommended enlisting of the Rohingyas with disabilities and orphans with urgency.

It also suggested taking necessary especial measures for them since they are the most vulnerable part of the ethnic Rohingya community.

According to a UNB report published on Friday, the study reveals that though there is no structured initiative, the Bangladesh government has planned to shift Rohingya children with disability to a separate camp location.

More than six lakh Rohingyas have fled to Bangladesh’s Cox’s Bazar district since August 25 due to major escalation of violence in Myanmar’s northern Rakhine State.
