The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has developed a new mobile phone based application “Hello CT” to fight against crimes via accessing information from the app users.
People can download and use the app on their smartphones to share information on crimes with police in order to help the law enforces curb crime, DMP said in a media release.
The app is designed to help police to take prompt actions when needed.
Identity of app users will be kept secret, the release added.
Android and iPhone users can download the ‘Hello CT’ app for free from Google Play Store and Apple Store respectively.
