A man died from snake bite at Betila village in Manikganj’s sadar upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Kader Biswas, 54, office assistant of deputy commissioner office and son of Tamij Uddin of the village.
Family members said a snake bit Abdul Kader while he was offering Esha prayer at his residence around 9 pm, UNB reported.
Later, he was taken to a hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
