A sub-inspector of Kishoreganj’s Bhairab Police Station, who was infected with Covid-19, was discharged from Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka on Tuesday after his recovery.

The police officer identified as Mohammad Chand Mia was, however, asked to maintain a 10-day home quarantine, reports UNB.

He underwent test twice recently when he was found negative and discharged from the hospital.

Some 176 people, including 10 policemen, have so far been infected with coronavirus in the district.

Earlier on Monday, a physician of Karimganj Health Complex, who was infected with coronavirus, was discharged from the hospital after his recovery from COVID-19.
