Belize's PM tests positive for Covid-19

Belize's Prime Minister Johnny Briceno has tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19), the prime minister's office said in a statement on Monday.

It said, "Prime Minister Briceno will remain in isolation for the next two weeks, after which he will be re-tested," reports Xinhua.

According to a real-time count kept by Johns Hopkins University, Belize has reported 5,183 Covid-19 cases and 116 deaths.
