From now on the bill of diagnostic services at ICDDR,B could be paid using bKash, and for thatbKash Limited, the largest mobile financial service provider in the country has signed an agreement with International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR,B) recently.
Under this deal diagnostic bill payment will be easy, safe and fast for bKash customers at Icddr,b’s Mohakhali and Niketon diagnostic center.
Mizanur Rashid, Chief Commercial Officer of bKash and Prof. Dr. Niyaz Ahmed, Senior Director, Laboratory Sciences and Services Division & Annrita Muthoni Mugambi, Controller, Finance of Icddr,b exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at the corporate head office of Icddr,b.
Among others, Md. Mahbub Sobhan, Head of M-Commerce, Ahasanul Kabir, Channel Manager and Asadullah Amil, Account Manager of bKash and Md. Shahriar Bin Elahi, Senior Data Manager, Clinical Laboratory Sciences and Services Division and Md. Mazharul Islam, Manager Treasury, Finance Division and senior doctors were present during the signing ceremony.
International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR,B) is an international health research organization hospital in Dhaka. It was established in 1978 and supported by about 55 donor countries and organizations, including the Govt. of Bangladesh. Icddr,b offers a range of diagnostic services to the general public, using its internationally accredited laboratories (ISO 15189:2012 and ISO 15190:2003). Profits from these services support the life-saving work of its hospitals in Dhaka.
