The seventh edition of Masters of Ideation, the flagship event of NSU YES was held online successfully. While the students had a miniscule corporate experience through this event, the organisers are happy to have this done amidst the ongoing pandemic which has made life somewhat stagnant.

The event was launched with the initiation of round one called 'Emergence'. Participants came up with creative business solutions regarding 'Chupa Chups,' a venture of the event's sponsor Perfetti Van Melle. The teams with the best case solutions made it to round two  where the real tussle began. In this round, selected teams had to give a virtual presentation on their solution within stipulated 12 minutes for each team, which made it even more challenging. A 10 minute long Q/A session for each then followed.

Blue Dream, In It To Win It, Quarterback, Kevin's Chilli, Sesame Street, Team Avengrad, Team Sabertooth and The Boys-- these eight teams survived the second round and moved to the grand finale to solve the final case for the ultimate battle of supremacy. This final round was divided into two parts -- the presentation round and prize giving ceremony. Each team got a total of 13 minutes to present their solutions followed by a 10 minute long Q/A session in this final round.

After the presentation, the prize giving ceremony began with prominent faces like  Gour Gobinda Goswami, the director of student affairs at North South University (NSU), Dr M Ismail Hossain, pro vice-chancellor of NSU and Mahzabin Ferdous, executive director of Concito PR. After their speeches, the winners were announced. The champion's trophy was handed to team Kevin's Chilli. In It To Win It and Sesame Street begged the first and second runner up trophies respectively.

The event accommodated distinguished judges like ATM Shamim Uz Zaman, head of Marketing Communications of Robi Axiata Limited,  Mahzabin Ferdous, executive director of Concito PR and Sudiptto Chakkraborty, country business manager of Nestle Professional, Nestle Bangladesh Limited.

It was the very first online event hosted by NSU YES in their 25-year-long journey and it was rather crafted to end on a successful note. The event was concluded with appreciation for all participants and brands involved.
