Three of a family die in Mymensingh boat capsize

Three members of a family were killed as a boat capsized in the Brahmaputra river at Islampur in Gafargoan upazila of Mymensingh district on Sunday night.
The deceased were identified as Sadia, 14, her brother Sakib, 10, and their aunt Asma Khatun,30, of the Upazila.
Chan Mia, the officer-in-charge of Pagla Police station, said the Kishoreganj-bound boat from Datter Bazar carrying six passengers sank in the river around 8:00pm.
Three passengers managed to swim ashore while the others went missing.
Later, locals retrieved their bodies from near the spot at night; according to a news agency.
