Teen’s decomposed body recovered from Dhaka’s Dhanmondi Lake

Police recovered the decomposed body of an unidentified teenager from capital Dhaka’s Dhanmondi Lake on Tuesday morning.

 

Being informed by locals, police recovered the half-molten floating body of the boy, aged about 13, from lake water adjacent to Dhanmondi 4 no road at about 10:00am and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue, said Md Parvez Islam, Inspector (Investigation) of Dhanmondi Police Station.

 

The boy, wearing trousers and t-shirt, might have been dumped in the lake 3-4 days ago, the inspector added.

 

However, the cause of his death is yet to be known; according to a news agency.
