RAB arrests three men with 800,000 yaba tablets in Dhaka's Sadarghat

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested three men in possession of 800,000 yaba tablets at the capital’s Sadarghat.
The arrestees are Md Tuhin, 27, Sabuj, 22, and Shahjahan, 30.
They were detained by RAB around 6:00 am on Tuesday, Md Kamruzzaman, the assistant police superintendent of RAB-1, said.
The three were coming to Dhaka on a launch from Barguna, bdnews24.com reported citing the initial interrogation.
They were carrying around 800,000 methamphetamine-based yaba tablets, which are worth at least Tk 500 million, said SI Kamruzzaman.
Further details on the matter will be disclosed in a media briefing at 4pm Tuesday, he added.
