Police recover woman’s dead body in Chuadanga

Police recovered the dead body of Hiramoti Begum (50), wife of an expatriate Dhune Mandal, from her own bedroom at Chitla village in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga district on Monday night.

Officer-in-charge (Investigation) at Damurhuda Police Station, Gazi Emdadul Haque, said locals broke the door of her bedroom as there was no response from Hiramoti after she went to sleep.

They found her lying on the bed.

Tipped-off, police rushed to the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital for an autopsy, reports a local news agency.
