Pandora papers reveal hidden riches of Putin’s alleged love, inner circle

The secret wealth of Russian president Vladimir Putin's numerous close associates has been revealed in the biggest trove of leaked offshore data in history, Britain's The Guardian reports.

They include his best friend from childhood – the late Petr Kolbin – whom critics have called a “wallet” for Putin’s own wealth, and a woman the Russian leader was allegedly once romantically involved with, according to the report.

However, Putin, whom the US suspects of having a secret fortune, does not appear in the files by name, The Guardian mentions.

None responded to invitations to comment, according to the British newspaper report.
