Lightning kills 3 fishermen in Rajshahi

A lightning strike during storm has killed three fishermen at Baghmara Upazila of Rajshahi district on Sunday afternoon.
The dead are Abul Hossain, 40, Jalal Uddin, 38, and Khorshed Alam, 50, residents of Barabihanali village.
Firefighters and locals said a thunderbolt struck them while they were fishing in a waterbody around 12:30pm, leaving them dead on the spot.
On information, Fire Service and Civil Defence divers rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies. – agencies
