Elderly woman downs in Magura

An elderly woman drowned in Noboganga river at Shikundi village in Sadar upazila of Magura district on Friday.
Ilius Hossain, officer- in-charge at Sadar Police Station, said Dulali Begum (70), wife of Hamed Mollah, drowned due to strong current in the river while she was taking bath in the afternoon.
The locals recovered her floating body from Korchadanga ghat of the river at 5:00 pm.
The dead body was sent to Magura Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
An unnatural death case was filed in this connection, reports UNB.
