Comilla jail honours three convicted freedom fighters

Three freedom fighters, who are serving life imprisonment in Comilla central jail in separate murder cases, were honoured by the jail authorities on Monday on the occasion of the 48th Independence Day.
The freedom fighters are Haji Shamsul Haque, Jaj Miah and Rakhal Chandra Naha.
The jail authorities arranged improved diets for them and gave them red-green panjabis as gift in an effort to give them mental support.
Jailer Nasir Ahmed and deputy jailer Mazharul Islam were present at the programme, reports UNB.
