College student dies in Noakhali road crash

Anisa Anan, 17, a student of Noakhali Government Women College, has been killed and another sustained injuries when the battery-run easy bike in which they were travelling, collided head on with a pickup van at Maijdi Bazaar in Noakhali on Thursday morning.
The accident occurring around 8 am left Anisa dead on the spot and another student Sumaiya injured critically, according to Police.
A local news agency said acting on a tip-off, Police rushed to the spot, recovered the body and sent the injured to Noakhali General Hospital.
