BNP men clash with police in city

Agitated BNP men clashed with police at Chankharpul when the latter were heading towards Bakshibazar special court accompanying the motorcade of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia ahead of the verdict set to be delivered from the court on Thursday.
Police lobbed teargas shells to disperse the BNP activists when they threw brickbats towards the law enforcers around 1:45 pm.
According to UNB police arrested six BNP activists, including a lawyer and a Jubo Mahila Dal leader, from the spot.
