BGB, BSF exchange greetings, sweetmeat on Independence Day

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) exchanged greetings and sweetmeat at the Hili border in Hakimpur upazila on Monday on the occasion of the 48th Independence Day of Bangladesh.
BGB arranged the programme along the zero line of the international check-post gate around 10am, reports UNB.
Abu Naser, company commander of the check-post BGB camp, said they exchange sweetmeat and gifts on different national days and religious festivals to enhance the ties between the border forces of the two neighbouring countries.
