Two people were killed and eight others injured when a truck hit a human hauler on Chittagong-Teknaf Highway near Rabeta Hospital in Ramu upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Friday.
One of the deceased was identified as Mahmududl Haq (32).
The accident took place around 8:30 am when a goods-laden truck hit the human hauler from behind, leaving its two passengers dead on the spot and eight others injured, said Highway Police.
The injured were sent to Sadar Hospital.
