Police and the officials of Narcotics Control Department in several drives have arrested three suspected drug pedlars along with hemp, Yaba tablets and Phensidyl syrup from Jessore district.
The arrestees were identified as Ekramul Islam, Ramzan Ali and Yunus Khan, a news agency reported.
On secret information, police and the officials of Narcotics Control Department carried out the drives in several places of the district town and Sadar upazila from Monday night to Tuesday morning and arrested the trio along with four kilograms of hemp, 212 pieces of Yaba pills and five millimeter of Phensidyl syrup.
The detainees were produced before the court on Tuesday afternoon.
