Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen and Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen have tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19).
They were scheduled to leave Dhaka for Niger today (Wednesday) to attend the 47th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM).
But the planned visit was cancelled as they got the Covid-19 test reports on Tuesday.
Dr Momen did not have any symptoms and he is well now, a spokesperson of the ministry said.
He is in isolation as per the advice of the physicians.
Foreign Secretary Mr Masud also went for Covid-19 test as per rules before travelling abroad and his test result was also positive.
Last week state minister for foreign affairs M Shahriar Alam was inflicted with Covid-19.
