Dainik Purbokone editor no more

Dainik Purbokone editor Taslim Uddin Chowdhury has passed away. He was 63.

Mohammad Ali, a senor journalist of the daily published from Chittagong, said the editor breathed his last at a hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday morning, reports UNB.

Family sources said architect Taslim Uddin Chowdhury, who was suffering from incurable diseases for long, died around 6:45 am.

He was survived by his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

Chittagong Press Club, Chittagong Journalists Association and Metropolitan Journalists Union leaders expressed their profound shock at the death of Purbokone editor.
