Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) on Monday has launched a hotline service for water route travellers to lodge any complain, and inform them about river pollution and grabbing.
The 24/7 hours hotline numbers are launched so passengers can inform the authorities of harassment, river grabbing of Buriganga, Turag and Balu and lodge complains of pollution.
The hotline service numbers are 0130 400 4003 and 0130 400 4006, said a statement of BIWTA.
