Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey, known for portraying the role of Cersei Lannister on the popular HBO show, has accused producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment.

In a series of Twitter posts, she expressed that she “felt completely powerless,” when she met the Hollywood mogul and he was "furious" after she resisted his sexual advances.

Headey joins more than two dozen women - including Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashley Judd and Angelina Jolie - who have come forward to accuse Weinstein of sexual harassment, sexual assault and rape in the wake of two damning exposes uncovering decades of his alleged misconduct.

Weinstein - who “unequivocally denied" any allegations of nonconsensual sex has since been fired as chairman of The Weinstein Company studio and expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences that present the Oscar awards.
