The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has published circulars for the 42nd and 43th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations seeking applications for government jobs.
The commission published the circulars on its website on Monday, report bdnews24.com and UNB.
As per the circular, the 42nd BCS examination will be a special one. Two thousand assistant surgeons will be recruited through the special BCS to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,814 officials, including 300 public administration, 100 in police, 25 in foreign service and 843 teachers, will be recruited through the 43rd BCS examinations.
Applications can be filed for the 42nd BCS examinations from 10:00 am on December 1 through the website. Job seekers can submit applications until 6:00 pm on December 27.
Meanwhile, the application process for the 43rd BCS will open from 10:00 am on December 31 and end at 6:00 am on January 30.
