Former MP Khurram passes away

Khandaker Md Khurram, former MP of Sherpur-3 constituency, died at a hospital in Dhaka due to old age complications on Saturday. He was 65.

Md Khurram, member of Awami League executive committee, breathed his last around 6:30 am at Birdem Hospital.

He left behind his wife, two daughters, one son and a host of relatives to mourn his death.

He was suffering from different old age complications including diabetic and heart related disease.

On April 7, he was admitted to Birdem Hospital.

His first namaz-e-janaza will be held at Jatiya Shangshad Bhaban premises around 11 am on Sunday.

Later, he will be buried at his family graveyard after holding four more namaz-e-janaza in Sherpur on Monday, reports UNB.

Born at Bhayadanga in Sribordi upazila, Khurram started his political career from Jasod.
