BNP leader’s mother passes away in Dhaka

Fatema Amin, mother of BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, died at a Dhaka hospital on Thursday noon. She was 92.

Fatema who had long been suffering from various old age complications, breathed her last at Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital around 12 noon, said BNP chairpersons media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

Three sons, four daughters and a host of relatives were present to mourn her death.

On March 1, Fatema Amin was admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in the city following her illness, reports UNB.
