Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday stressed the need for strengthening the waterway connectivity between India and Bangladesh aimed at promoting the trade and commerce.
She came up with the opinion when Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das paid a courtesy call on her at Ganabhaban in Dhaka, reports BSS.
After the call on, PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed the media.
They discussed various bilateral issues of common interest of the countries.
PM’s Principal Secretary Md Nojibur Rahman was present at that time.
