Local administration of Rangamati trashed media reports about a gunfight between two terrorist groups in Rajasthali Upazila.
"The law enforcement agencies did not find evidence of a gunfight in Tui Khowai Para," Deputy Commissionerof Rangamati AKM Mamunur Rashid said Wednesday.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Sheikh Sadek echoed him.
Members of law enforcement agencies visited the spot after reports of a gunfight between two groups emerged but did find any evidence, reports UNB.
