The holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest festival of the Muslim community, is being celebrated today across the country with due religious solemnity.
On this day, after offering prayers, Muslims sacrifice animals to commemorate the devotion of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) to Allah.
President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina greeted Muslim Ummah including the country people on holy Eid-ul-Azha.
The state-run Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar and all private TV channels will air special programmes to celebrate this special day.
