Land Ministry's ADP implementation progress more than national progress

The progress rate of the Ministry of Land in the implementation of ADP is 14.64 per cent, which is 1.85 percentage points higher than the national progress rate of 12.79 per cent.

The information was provided at a progress review meeting of implementation of the Annual Development Programme (ADP) of the fiscal year 2020-21, chaired by Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, held in the conference room of the Ministry of Land at the Secretariat Monday.

In this context, the land minister said the pace of work of the land ministry has significantly increased. "We need to work more efficiently to keep the trust of the people," he said.

"After receiving the UN award, we have to take all possible measures to keep up the recognition as our responsibility has increased," also said by Saifuzzaman Chowdhury.

Land Secretary Md Muksodur Rahman Patwary, Chairman of Land Reform Board Md Yakub Ali Patwary, Chairman of Land Appeal Board Ummul Hasna, Head of the various Departments/Offices under the land ministry's jurisdiction, senior officials of the Ministry of Land including the project directors of various projects were present in the meeting among others.
